Patek Philippe

Does anyone have any idea of how many of these watches will be shipped to the U.S. I think this is the most beautiful Patek I have seen.  I have also heard that this watch might only be in production for one year, I hope this is not true.

and so is the 5970J.... as far as how many are made ?????  One thing for sure, it won't be many

If these are only made for 1 year, in low quantities, I guess the price to get one in the future will be sky high. I wonder if the the 5070P will go down as the crown jewel of the 5070 "era".

Coming from inside Patek Philippe, the 5070P and 5970J are not planned to be produced only one year.

These tales are just a speculative manipulation of collectors!

I read that it would be produced for only one year, but heard no such thing from Patek Philippe, but they may don't know either!

New 5070 & New 5970!!!!

No,  there won't be a new 5070 or 5970 by then - what will be new by then is that neither will be available forever.

Yeah, I believe that rumor already came true in the form of that hideous watch that was essentially a 5970 in platinum with diamonds on the bezel, something that only Liberace would find appealing.

Yes... about 100 pieces or less. PP only produce 20,000 watches a year and platinum series watch are much lesser being that it is difficult to produce.

42,000 per year cited on the last PP events in NY/LA

and than from "inside Patek" it will produced for ever, than that "Gossip is like shit" ( I agree with you) ........ but considering your position ( I consider you the most expert in the matter) can you kindly  give us your  final opinion about the matter ? Patek Philippe has, like many other brands shortened the life cycle of its products in the last decade!

Ref 5070P will probably not be produced for many years as it is already an old reference (5070), but I was just answered at PP that the 5070P is not supposed to be produced for one year only.

I just read in the Collectors Market that someone pretends to have a letter from PP saying that it will be produced only one year!

Why doesn't he show the letter here? And then we would be over with that subject!
