The Patek Aquanaut 5167

The Richard Mille RM010 in Titanium

Although I like the RM - Feel that the Vaucher movement is a little too simple to justify the price (perhaps also true of the Aquanaut), but I do feel (with absolutely no grounds whatsoever, and perhaps its just because it's a patek) that the cal 324  is a "better movement" in terms of accuracy and finish

I realise the enormous price difference between the two - but would only be considering the RM010 second hand

I like the more classic shape of the PP over the RM.

For me the PP shape is much better defined.

I would take a Casio over the RM - I think it's hideous.

Not the best picture (RM's always look better in the flesh) and the white gold is nicer than the TI IMO. The 5167, whilst not hideous, is certainly an ugly watch.
Try both on and they're so different, one will speak to you more than the other

Take the RM010 over the patek.

It's rarer, more complicated, and an interesting point in horological history you exist in.

Well, if you did compare the RM010 to the PP nautilus chrono, i would have a totally different opinion.

That's my point of view.

without much thinking.RM is a sports watch compared to the "sporty " aquanaut.Confess that I love and own Pateks but have no RM's.

I prefer RM010 Ti or (I owned) RM005FM. To me the Nautilus or Aquant are ugly watches. My favorite simple PP is 5124G or 5196P

My wife thinks RM is ugly and look cheap.  AP ROO looks better if you want a big watch.

I've tried both and the RM is a hands down winner. It looks much better on the wrist than on the photos.  Maybe it looks cheap to the general public but its design and construction is as modern and high tech as it gets.

The RM is too chunky to enjoy during swimming/watersports. Wearing the 5167 wet, intimates that you have another, more complicated model for dry wear.

RM010 one of the ugliest watches ever seen - Aquanaut one of the most beautuful. What could be easier?
