Patek Philippe

I posted below, asking what members think of this model. It got mixed reviews. I guess that's understandable since many watches do. (And maybe this one more than others.)

I brought it home today. I also asked PP's AD in Tokyo about it and was told that there were very few of these made, and mainly for Japan,  but some also got shipped here and there, from what I have heard and seen checking the Internet. PP was the only AD that sold these models here.

Forgive the poor photograghy. The watch is actually understated in that it's 34mm and doesn't look like there is a lot of gold on my wrist. Plus, the shimmering blue goes from very bright blue down to deep, dark ocean blue, depending on how the light hits it. Finally, while the white Romans and hands help lower the bling factor, the hobnail bezel gives it a touch of class, I think. However, a couple of gold touches on the dial might have added a little more elegance.  All in all, I think I'm going to like this one alot.
