measured the diameter or length of any of their watches to see if the measurements are what they claim to be? Well, unless I am doing something wrong a few of my Pateks are off. I am measuring them with a calibrated gauge (mm) and measuring between the 10 and 2 positions as per conversations with Patek. Both of these watches have never been polished ,so thats out, I don't know what it could be. I measured a 5115 which is claimed to be 35mm (without crown), I get 33.5. I measured a 5117 and that was off as well. I switched to a ruler and got the same measurements.
Any thoughts?

p.s. I think I may have too much time on my hands,so to speak.
Or 2 and 8. If I remember my geometry correctly, measuring the diameter of a circle shoud be through the center. Measuring between 10 and 2 would give you a length shorter than the diameter.
Allen indicates. That would be from 10 to 4 or 9 to 3, etc. I have measured my watches and all have been consistent with manufacturors specifications.
