I HAVE A PATEK PHILIPPE WATCH 750 REF 39701W BLACK DAIL WITH THREE SMALL CIRCLES IN SIDE WITH A STAINLESS STEEL STIRPE. THE WATCH LOOKS ORIGINAL FROM EVERY ANGLE. IT ALSO HAS A TRANSPARENT BACK WHERE FROM WE CAN SEE THE MECNASIM INSIDE. THE WATCH HAS DAYS IN ONE CIRCLE, DATES 1 TO 31 IN ANOTHER AND THE LUNAR SIGNS COUNTING FROM 2 TO 24 AT THE OTHER. IT ALSO HAS THE YEAR AND THE MONTH AT THE CENTRE TOP OF THE DAIL. ANOTHER THING IT ALSO HAS THE ENCRIPTED LOGO OF PP AT THE SIDES OF THE DAIL. I MEAN AT THE BASE WHERE THE TWO BUTTONS AND THE CROWN IS SITUATED. THE END WHERE THE STAINLESS STEEL MEETS ALSO HAS THE NAME PATEK PHILIPPE AND GENEVE.THE NUMBERS ARE 2,4,NO 6, 8, 10 AND 12.ABOVE 12 IS A SMALL 60 AND SO ON. AT THE BASE WHERE THE 6 IS USALLY SITUATED IS WRITTEN SWISS MADE.
ANY ONE WITH THE SAME PROBLEM? I WANT TO KNOW WHETHER THE WATCH IS A TRUE PRODUCE OR A FAKE.
PLEASE HELP. YOUR HELP IS VERY MUCH NEEDED AND I WOULD ALSO TRY TO HELP YOU BY SENDING PHOTOS OF THE SAME.

stop using UPPER CASE in your posts - is signifies shouting on the internet.

Also, you need to post a picture.  By description, it sounds like a fake but a picture will go a long way to resolving this question.

you may want to do a simple forum search, the reference number (and also the rest of your description) indicates one of the best known fakes (isn't it a funny irony that they're even consistent with that fake reference   ? ).

i am not at all satisfied saying that PP 39701W is a fake. infact i guess that this model ref watch is a real product of PP and is limited edition to 50? i think that all attributes of my watch shows that the watch is an original work of the real company. anyone's help on this matter would be of great help to me and all those who have the same model watch.

if you are lucky enough to have someone like Suitbert answer, and then not even listen. He is incredibly knowledgeable, and although no one is perfect, I would not dismiss his answer so lightly. I would need tons and tons of convincing, and possibly a retraction to think differently.

Also, if you're so sure that it's real, why you did even ask here??

I'd not like to discuss this "special" watch much more, I only left this post up as it may serve others as information - don't make me regret that decision

Regarding 39701W, I've never heard such a reference genuinely from PP.
I stand by Suitbert's comment and would be incline to say that it's a fake.

thanks for the feedback and comments. i brought this topic because this watch with ref39701W was given to me as a gift by a wealthly man. as i was not very sure of the ref# i wanted some information from the net. i tried google and all the search engines but couldnt find one. i think that sloves the problem that the watch may be a replica of the original Ref3970.

my brother has this same watch, but his is silver with brown straps and the inside is white, he took it to a jeweler and she said it was real but i havent been able to find it anywhere on the net except for like 2 places that say its fake. so if anyone has a url for a place that tells me how to spot a fake it would be really appreciated.

I am inclined to agree. I recently got one from Vietnam.  The watch is in mint condition and from whatever scrutiny I have done of the piece, it appears to be a genuine piece - or at least so I would like to beleive!!
