Patek Philippe 5140P.

A cool case and a beautiful dial and this Cal 240 in all its beauty.
Not sure I prefer it to the 3940, but I can confess that it is another tempting one.
Always a great pleasure to see one.
Best,
Nicolas

Hmmm… well said. Shrunken/cut off numerals generally turn me away.
By: Nicetomeetyou : March 13th, 2026-14:02
Interesting that Journe took that concept and made it into his design ethos 😜

Beautiful watch!

It is very legible and the case/movement ratio seems good.

does not have the compressed “27” numeral on the date wheel. Does this small detail make a difference to you ?

The blue one is "too obvious" in design.
This slate grey one ist rather unusual.

I have a deep love for 3940.
By: gary_g : March 13th, 2026-13:58
I’ve tried it numerous times but I can’t pull the trigger. It’s just a bit too small. So I looked into the 5140 bc it wears slightly larger. And although I think it’s an absolute stunner, I still prefer 3940.

I am in total agreement with you. The 3940 is a bit more my taste.

Thx for sharing !

PS: Do I remember correctly that all subdials with time/date parameters can be set by the crown ?
(Or did I mix it up with another PP PC ?)
