A peppy, perky Patek to start the weekend.
The 5135J, another one of those, you know, love-at-first-sight watches, which also is a little out of the ordinary.
It's a fun one to have on the wrist so I can admire the sunburst guilloche dial.

I never though of this as being sexy, but it sure can fill that order. Ha ha.
It's extremely comfortable. It's 38mm in size, so not that big at all, but due to the lugs and
onion crown, it looks bigger. There are other metals, but I preferred the look of the YG with
white dial and Patek Philippe Geneve gold banner on the dial. The banners on other metals to me looked a little too subtle.
And YG is a classic metal for a classic officer's watch.

It's really a very simple and elegant looking watch.
I liked this among many of the other beautiful Calatrava models.
Yes, that is what this is, and I think it's a rather fun idea
because it hides the movement until you open it.
