Tell me a little bit more about that Ellipse...
Seen tonight off the wrist of a friend. I was wondering if anyone could shed some light on the reference number and what this is? I was told some, but thought I would ask and do some reference checks. I have seen some older Ellipses, but never this exact configuration.
That Ellipse watch is from late 60s early 70s. Its a groovy watch. 😊
Manual wind usually but nearing the 70s Patek made it self winding.

- calibre PP 28-255 self-winding
- case 33 x 36 mm 18k yellow gold
- brown dial PP special "Vermeer" gold with "Fraisé" engraved indexes
- on leather strap
A rarely seen version of the specific reference.
