Gents,
Have been waiting and waiting for a WT with my AD ever since the 5131.
with the discontinuation, I guess I struck out of luck and potentially rubbing some salt in my own wound.
Would the 5231J not be the shortest production run of any WT and with the capacity to paint the dials equally super limited, most likely the rarest iteration?

Hence it is still in production, and you still have hope !

More than the 5131 iteration in any metal. It just seemed so much more difficult to have received the old version whereas my AD has had multiple 5231J….
Try the 5230G/R…
You can still get it (some ADs still have few pieces) and it is a beatiful/underated watch.
5131R was only 3 years and each year had a different city ring.
5231J is also a 3 year run.
