A bit sad for us here as my wife tested POSITIVE for COVID yesterday afternoon so most likely got it from her colleagues at work 🤦😬.
I just took a PCR test and waiting for the results myself. So Jesse J looks like she wants to comfort me a bit 🤞🤞
What is the point of these vaccinations and booster shots if we are just going to catch it anyways and develop our own immunity. Guess that is a hot topic and for another discussion 🙉🙊🙈

Hope it’s relatively pain and ache free. It’s annoying that the vaccines aren’t very effective in protecting.
I agree with you about the effectiveness of the vaccines but I have my own theories about that. As for now, seems the symptoms are mild as my wife only seems to be having a headache, cough, and mild body aches 🤷♂️🤦

Hope your wife, and possibly you, get better soon. My son had it right after Christmas and it was over in a few days. The quarantine was the toughest part. Thankfully the vaccine seems to lessen the severity and keeps most out of the hospital. Good luck.

I got it, recovered in a few days, and my wife didn't get it. And I'm old (and so is she).
Apparently this current version is a clone of the real thing [which is now going to be out of stock for a few years; there's a waiting list]

In an endemic this is where you want to be. Although more contagious it is less lethal. Unfortunately, I don't think COVID is going anywhere but it will probably become as common as the cold. My 5 year old daughter and I got it over Christmas break. She had a fever for about a day as did I and I also had a few body aches for a few days. That was the extent of it. My wife and and twin boys were spared. No rhyme or reason.

Difference is that it’s milder form. I guess patek gives a good protection also. We should all have 2 watches and a booster watch just in case😉

I have had friends who got the latest variant with minimal impact and others which had to go to the hospital - both in their early 40s! My understanding of the point of the vaccination is to minimize hospitalisation and negative effects when we do catch the virus... cheers!
