Crispy 5980/1A
Used to be my favorite chrono but I think the 5968A has taken that spot lately.
Indeed a pretty close call between the 5980 and the 5968, both truly terrific Patek chronos, though the latter is the only one remained (in SS) in the current catalog🥂

I don't own a 5968A but do own a 5980/1A-014 which I consider one of the best Nautilus models. I also think it fits better than the 68A due to the integration of the bracelet instead of the rubber strap which tends to cause wrist float on smaller wrists
Sadly, that is the case for me since my wrist is around 6 1/2" (16.5cm) + or - depending on the humidity.
Either way, you really cannot lose between these 2 and I salute you for having both 👍😉

Decisions decisions
I have had a blue dial 5980 since 2007 and have worn it often. I just got yesterday a new 5968a and I love it. I refer to it as a happy watch due to the orange strap and accents. I find the rubber strap is incredibly comfortable and I prefer it over the stiff, thick bracelet of the 5980. That said can’t go wrong with either.
