There are several versions of 5270G. This is the best IMHO: blue dial, no chin, tachymeter resemble 5970. The fine details are perfectly executed. I only wish the two subdials are in the same level as the central axis, but that’s simply impossible with the new CH29 caliber inside.
That's a vivid description, Gordon......However, I find it interesting that Lange's datograph has the exact dipped down subdials, yet no one seems to have problem with that. Isn't it strange? [nt]
I remember reading somewhere that Patek deliberately designed the dipped down subdials in CH29 caliber as an anti-fraud feature to differentiate from other faked caliber.

But I certainly prefer the lined up subdials as in the old lemania based CH27 caliber. More balanced.
In the old days, blue dial was a rare bird among Patek formal dress watches. It was only used in the special reference, such as the unique 5970P blue dial for a charity group in HK back in 2008 and the prestigious 5070P.....
