..it gets scratched less, it is more ....unobtrusive ...just doesn't look like a million dollars watch. more sporty but still can be worn universally and
last but not least it has the nicer dial. the 1R looks so serious. if one wants a full gold watch then the 5711R is much nicer IMHO, it is just perfect.
all this does not mean that i do not like the 1R, but i have my reservations in comparison to other pieces.
