Hi All, first post of one of my favorite watches. It just came back from service and I just put a new strap on from CF. I find the dial of this watch shows much better in natural light vs indoor lighting. This photos captures the dial nicely outdoors...

Still, it's possibly the best combination of two useful complications: perpetual calendar and chronograph.

One of the most beautiful modern watches...for many the most beautiful. The market seems to contradict me but I prefer the 3970 to the 5970 for its small dimension, it embodies how a Patek
be. Anyway...the 5970 is already amazing in itself but when you have a platinum one...you can't get much better than this.

I think the strap really adds a casual element to the watch, I wear jeans 99% of the time so it works good for me. I have the same strap on my 5070 as well.
