Setting Cal. 12-120 QP
Greetings to all!
I've searched the forum here and done some additional web research, but I'm not finding anything regarding how to (safely) set the date on the Cal. 12-120 QP perpetual calendar movement.
There are of course two pushers: one on the left side of the watch, and one between the lower lugs. I suspect that one advances the date and the other the moon, but don't want to mess things up! Watch is currently set to the proper date (set by a watchmaker after the time of the photo below) but as it won't be a daily wearer I will need to advance the date from time to time.
Any advice or guidance to the appropriate links would be greatly appreciated!

I thought the 3940 was the first perpetual owner's could set by themselves. If yours has pushers set the watch to 12 noon and work clockwise form the upper left of the case.

Thanks for the reply -- I did have the watchmaker set the correct date in the four year cycle but am hoping that the pushers can be used to set the date forward.

I would think you have. No doubt a Purist will be able to help, but you might want to do it anyways.

this is a master stroke of yours to secure you this watch, a token of knowledge and refined taste. I could admire it for hours, indeed!

I'm sorry I can't help you about the setting configuration of this 1526 (if I'm not wrong about the ref) I remember being told by forum members that it should be set by a watchmaker and didn't even know before your post that it had pushers as well and I totally understand your safe behavior regarding their activation.
I'm sure you'll get you answers from Patek soon and it will be the safest imho.

You are correct -- this is a Ref. 1526 in pink gold. From its valuation, quite under-appreciated by collectors IMHO relative to its importance and beauty -- very pleased to hear that it is your favorite!
