It is indeed the former. I waited a year. And no, I am usually not a patient man, but for this one, I bit the bullet. I would sneak a peek every now and then when no one was watching, but never put it on my wrist.

So it was purchased with your thousandth post in mind? Or another celebration as well? Just amazing. Again, congratulations. Hope to see this one some day.

A bit on the large side for my tastes, but I will have to adjust (poor me).

You forget it the second you see that dial. And besides, it doesn't feel large on my admittedly small wrist.

I like the size, but feel that 1 mm smaller would have made a huge difference. Then again, I have girly wrists...

It is a PP 5370P. So, yes. a platinum, enamel-dial, split second chrono. Basically Patek DNA.
