I really do enjoy the discretion and rarity of this ref.

Your first annual calendar watch from Patek displayed this matter on the dial: for a long jump from 30th to a 1rst of a month it needs the power of twelve hours, hence the red markings.

That is 1/4th of the power when fully wound.

My question was more:
Do you know if loosing 25% of power reserve is ordinary or extraordinary?
What would be expectations for such a change of multiple indication on a PC?

There is another Patek manual watch that needs colossal power reserve  of two days (!) for date and day changes. To be fair, those changes are instant. And to be really, really fair it is only 20% of the overall power reserve.

Nevertheless Patek's annual calendar is striking in construction as it is not using any levers or springs, all done by wheels!

I had no idea about this.

I love the smaller size and the roman numerals.

I briefly had a 5056 but then returned to a 5035G with black dial. The warmth of white gold, the black dial and the concave bezel did it for me!

I wore this every day until  I got a Langematik Perpetual.  The slate dial and the white moon phase attracted me to it.

To all of you, thanks for welcoming me warmly. I appreciate your comments. I love wearing this stealthy complication piece when there is a need for low profile but dressy. Also, you don't see many of these (I have never seen one on someone else's wrist), so that is nice. Also, this is a very special piece for me and carries great sentimental value.
