Not long ago I had the chance to see the Nicolas Rieussec chronograph in real for the first time!

I find it very charming, interesting with the pusher positioned at 8 o'clock.
Clearly made to be operated with the thumb!
Nice decorated movement. As you may notice by the older version of the bracelet, this one has a few years already: 2010.
If I am not mistaken - today one year ago, Robin joined the moderator team here!

Thank you for this post. The Nicolas Rieussec is the most iconic Montblanc watch IMHO still. I have a few friends who have this watch (2 of them bought it with me tagging along) and they all love it. The charm of the Monopusher (at 8 o'clock is very rare), the very unique chronograph system where the disc turns instead of the hands - all of which makes me like this watch as well. Why don't I get one? A tad big for me
Hopefully they make a smaller Nicolas Rieussec watch soon. Maybe 40mm instead of 43mm?

This one is 43mm but when I tried it it didn't feel that big...

The Rieussec is THE Montlblanc watch, for me.
Original, distinctive, an icon to become, I think.
