Montblanc

Hello all, I have been following the forum for a couple of weeks and have decided to make my first post.  I have been interested in purchasing the Timewalker GMT.  The problem being is that the local boutique is always sold out of the model and they won't be getting another display model for 2-3 months.  Does anyone have pictures of the watch both from the front and back on the wrist.

difficulties tracking down the Timewalker GMT.  It is Montblanc's most popular model!  But I am sure if you pressed hard enough your local Montblanc authorized dealer can find one faster

 

I don't have the exact pictures you are looking for but if you are trying to see what it would look like on the wrist, I have a few substiute photos.  Here is the Montblanc Timewalker Automatic.  It is very similar in layout (only missing the GMT hand).  The case size is the same except the Timewalker Automatic is 0.5mm thicker.

 

 

 Another model to consider is the new DLC coated Timewalker GMT Big Date.

 

 I hope you will keep us up to date on your progress and see the Timewalker GMT on your wrist soon!

Thanks for the information, I didn't realize it was the 'most' popular model.....however I must admit it is the best looking GMT that I have seen to date.  Do you know much about the pricing - I live in Canada and have been quoted $3250 before tax - as this is my first high end watch purchase do you know if there is much wiggle room to negotiate prices??

Sorry to be late to the party. I travel overseas and domestically frequently and I wanted an elegant, but contemporary GMT that was a snap to read. I wanted stainless steel so it could be my "World Travel Daily Beater." I like a black dial and reasonable size for simple, stand out readability. Just two time zones, center seconds. Brilliantly simple. 18 months, and I'm just as happy as the first day. Great value too.

That red tipped GMT hand is extremely legible at a quick glance in your picture.  Sounds like a perfect watch for your needs.

Btw, is the red tip luminous?  Or just paint?

Your review of the (then) new Ceramic Timewalker Chrono actually steered me to MontBlanc and its Timewalker line.

Talk about a "rising star"--that's been MontBlanc in the past two years.

It's great to see a rising tide lifting all Montblanc boats.

If I am half asleep because of jetlag and I'm trying to get a quick idea what time it is locally, I wouldn't want another luminous hand confusing me.

During the daytime, I'd be interested in what time it is at home.

MontBlanc does a superb job of "thinking thru" the color correlations and symmetry of its watch faces.

Montblanc wishes to attract with the Timewalker GMT.

Thanks for the great picture of the GMT on your wrist!! Definately leaning more and more towards a purchase.  You would'nt happen to have more pictures....ie of the back of the watch and from an angle?
