It was a limited run of 888 pieces I think, but the boutique network might still have a few floating around. I inquired a year or so ago and the boutique said they might be able to acquire one.
All produced already I think
But still available in some boutiques and ADs. 888 pieces so some will still be available

I had no idea that the Greytech was made because Lutz Bethge was infatuated with the colour!

Pure joy to have this watch which is quite a rare Montblanc at 888 pieces if I remember right 
The combination of grey colors are superb on this piece including the grey movement. Very techy feeling with a nice double Flyback chrono movement to boot

You are correct, its limited to 888 pieces. Its nothing compared to your Minerva villeret pieces though. I have never seen the villerets displayed at the Montblanc boutiques. How did you get a chance to purchase one? This message has been edited by tophotdog on 2016-07-14 03:49:19
There are limited quantities of Montblanc Villeret watches
in Montblanc boutiques in Singapore but only a select 1 or 2 of the boutiques (the airport ones don't carry Villerets for eg). The ADs also carry them but some of these are the very old stock 47mm chronographs from 2008 which are a tad too big for some Asian wrists.
As for the newer 1858 Tachymeter or some of the more popular Villerets, we do need to order them in advance even without seeing the watch in the metal. Quite rare to see one lying around in a boutique or AD - I think some purists were lucky to see them in the boutiques but not here in Singapore for me.
