Celebratin the 20th anniversary of the Lange 1

Certainly will not be the most beautiful photos, many forum writers have engaged in more poses built or researched. 
I simply wanted to commemorate the launch of the Lange 1 through the history of Dresden and Saxony in general, the cradle of skilled watchmakers. 
In the first picture at Dresden was destroyed by Allied bombing in February 1945 I associated gears, sinkers and other details to a clock symbol destroyed. 
The second photo, the Wall, a symbol of terror where nothing could be born and develop. 
The third picture, the two symbols of the rebirth of AL & S, Mr. Walter Lange and Mr. Gunter Blumlein, associated with the magnificent work done with the help of many teachers Watchmakers of Glashutte, the Lange 1. 
I hope you share and like.

Question about the Lange 1.....

I do not (yet) own a Lange but am trying to learn more about the brand.  I want only a few watches, but I like watches which are classic models which stick closely to the original (even if they are subject to minor cosmetic updates).  For example I have a Rolex Explorer 1 36mm and an AP Jumbo, both of which I like very much. 

Some watches seems to change considerably over time - in particular the recent fad for big watches has caused some models to be upsized, often destroying the purity of the original design.  I notice for example that the 1815 in its short life has been subject to changes in size and movement, which to me makes it less appealing. 

However, am I right in thinking that the "basic" Lange 1 has always been and is still essentailly unchanged from the first 1994 model - ie same movement, case size and design?  Have there been any significant changes since its inception?

Looking at the movements of newer lange 1, i have noticed that the opening to view the click was changed from a circle to a kidney-bean shape..

Only some very few minor changes. We can say that the "classic" Lange remains the same. One remark however: the very first Lange One had a solid caseback.

I am a big wrist shot believer, and my collection of Lange focus on the icons from the past, with a bridge to the future with the Zeitwerk.   I am missing one key piece, Mr. Walter's PLM, but my chance of landing that one is slim and none.
