But as you said the version that you can get is the RG, and that is a no no for me.
Given your choice i would take the DS, but movement for movement, as i emphasize on accurate time measurement, the RL PLM is the one to go for!
While i dont have the RG version, here's a shot of mine to maybe convince you a little bit more towards the RL PLM

I recently saw a RL PLM RG in an AD's shop window. I couldn't help but stop to admire its beauty and elegant stature.
If I posed a hypothetical question to myself: would I swap it for my DS PT? The answer would be: probably not.
However, if it was in Pt. -------------- in a flash.

Hello there!
Nice to hear that you are in the position to choose between these two Langes.
To answer your questions:
The DS is muuuuch, much more complex than the PLM.
The PLM has technically speaking no complication as it shows only time and second.
So, that is one reason to get the DS.
However, if you want something discreet (if 41 mm can be), something with the charm of days gone by, something beautiful simply saying: it would be the PLM.
As you are already mentioning: the symbiosis of both watches is the T-PLM as it comes with the complication of a tourbillion.
But: for the T-PLM you can get almost both, the DS and the PLM, which makes it a quite "tough" decision.
My advise: if you want to stick to your budget get the DS.
It has got a UNIQUE complication no one else is able to offer.
If you want to push yourself hard: the T-PLM.
So, count your money and let us know what you went for, please.
Best
Moritz
