A. Lange & Söhne

Just saw this anouncement by Lange:

After eight years of revision, Reinhard Meis finally presents the new edition of “A. Lange & Söhne – The Watchmakers of Dresden”: it now has two volumes and contains more than twice as many pictures and text. The German version, „A. Lange & Söhne – Feine Uhren aus Sachsen“ (Callwey), is now on the bookshelves. An English, an Italian and a Chinese version will follow.

If only the english version could land very quickly... and sadly for me, no french version expected.

Wow, this is a must get!!

I have the first edition and it has been like "bible" for me.  The new edition must be even better.  Sadly, no Japanese either, FX... :-(

My aim is to have one book for each watch, but  I have found  nothing weighty  for Lange.

For Christmas 2011 it's " Audemars Piguet le Maitre de l'Horlogerie depuis 1875" from François Chaille ( in french), and for 2012 it's clear : it  will be the Lange year, in english.
