off all five positions is d=8 sec / day, though ...

Just a test result of one watch, but normally it can be seen as a representative result.

The behaviour of the watch is influenced by so many parameters that you can't define a precise amount, just thresholds. If my memory is right, the precision range of a Lange watch is -3 /+7.

But you can at least expect a precision range within the COSC one.

But in reality it depends on the individual example as well as the temerature, humidity, position, etc.  What I hate most about watches is when it loses second.  I would rather ones that gains +5 a day, so that it is easy to re-adjust.  No matter.  If your Lange loses some and you don't like it, they can fix it so that it gains a little on the fly (if you are in US... that is).
