They are stunning photos. Thank you for posting them.
If I may ask a favour?
Would you plesae place a couple of photos of the Double Split in action i.e all hands showing.
Thank you.
who shall remain anonymous at his request.
Unfortuantely those photos are the only ones I have, the watch does not belong to me.

Alternatively I can do several photos and merge them. But I like the shots with a shallow DOF, rather than have everything perfectly sharp.

This picture is totally amazing!! The deep construction of the movement maike me crazy.
Thx!!
Thanks for sharing the photos, and congratulations on what is a holy grail to many Lange fans!
Wear it always in the best of health!

according to the lucky SOB who owns the watch, it can be too heavy to wear for extended periods. Sadly only the lucky SOB has the opportunity to wear it for extended periods.

I am pretty sure that the DS weights more than 220, sans strap and buckle. The Datograph is already about 140-150g so the DS should be well above 220g, but the main reason I would think is the concentration of weight in the head of the watch. Getting a platinum bracelet will fix the problem nicely.

Lange platinum bracelets are extremely expensive. They add 30-40% to the retail of the Datograph for example. I won't go into whether that is justified, but it is undeniably costly.
