Dear Lange fans and enthusiasts,
just back to the hotel, after a VERY VERY nice evening with great friends, awesome food and a very nice highligt!
And despite the fact a couple of pretty good drinks being serviced, i just can not wait to share some sights.
So let´s start with a very very rare new, which i guess will be new to most of you:
Lange Boutique piece, Double Split, baguette set bezel, a very rare and very very limited piece (reportedly, less than 10 in existance)
I´ll share some other nice views very soon...
Cheers,
Peter
It´s been my honour to meet some really great folks today:
"Uncle Pete" Peter Chong and Anthony De Haas, Head of Lange Product Development...
Anthony De Haas explaining a world´s first to be achieved in a wrist watch...
Anthony De Haas explaining highest level finishing, such as polishing a movement edge only half of a mm wide
Small things in large view - each picture is about 200x magnification and about 1.80m wide...
Mr. Walter Lange, proudly presenting a world´s first and new A. Lange & Söhne model...
A very very very nice dinner to celebrate a great presentation with friends....
More soon, in compliance with official embargo dates by A. Lange & Söhne
Greetings from Germany,
Peter

I have never mistaken the identity of your goodself and Peter Chong. Both are gurus.
It is great to see Lange has again done something quite "unusual".
Regards
Ling
Thanks again for sharing Peter. You must be having a TON of fun!!

Peter,
Thanks for the sneak preview.
Being able to stop the heart of the tourbillon movement and set the seconds exactly to zero, without losing any time, is REALLY remarkable.
With each passing month, Tony deHaas looks more and more like a mad horology professor....or is it the flowing, long, hair style?
Best regards,
MTF
Peter,
Goodday.Wonderful event and vivid photoes,Congrats!
All the time i was accepting you as a german!Pure german! When i glanced the photo,i have to thoroughly screen it through again "Peter Chong" you are a chinese.Okay! That's surprise me a little, may be due to my long assumption that you are a "german".
Since from the beginning of the chapter knowing you always amaze with you reporting, review, articles and opinion.i hope you would not just hang there half way without a at least breief introduction of the cabrielet tourbi which the founder of lange holding in his hand.
Please.....Thank you!
BHK9
Edwin,
There was no need to go into
As a long time friend of PuristS, contributor to various forums (including the WFED forum), and Lange watch guru, Peter Chong can be mentioned with pride here on PuristSPro .
You can even mention timezone on PuristSPro - no big shakes. We are cordial to any persons or media that reciprocate that cordiality. Last time I looked, Peter Chong and his forum seemed friendly enough
If you know otherwise, please let us know.

MTF
G'day,
sorry for causing a confusion, but Edwin is right - including Peter Chong to be a great guy
Admittedly he´s looking better than i do. The proof can be found over on his Timezone A. Lange & Söhne forum (posted from SIHH last year, dating Apr 23, 2007 - 05:56 AM)...
In terms of the watch, obviously some guys already touted out what it is.
Well, maybe not EXACTLY what it is - it´s fairly more than the paper specs do tell and that´s NOT seen easily. Actually it needs to KNOW...
And while i may have disclosed already too much, you can rest assured you will like it.
You will like it a LOT and there´s a great chance many will fall for it right on the spot as soon as they see it and learn more about it. At least that´s been the reaction by almost everyone who got to see it so far!
So yes, it´s a Cabaret Tourbillon and it comes with some new features. But that doesn´t tell the whole story and while it´s not the only square cased tourbillon to be presented in the upcoming fairs by one of the high-end brands, it wouldn´t be a Lange if it would be "just another" tourbillon...
Official press embargo are valid until the end of the month, so i´m afraid i´ll have to end up half way now...
Greetings from Germany,
Peter
Morning PeterCDE,
I have to put it that way in order to clearly clariify its our promoderator from Germany.LOLOL......
Saw those pictures indicating Peter Chong and.....thought that PeterCDE,CDE-C stands for Chong(family name) and not sure the DE might for the second name. Therefore, mistaken was you,our moderator.I am the one should be apologising.
Nevertheless, glad to discover two peter here.Regretted for the confusion caused here.
thanks for the tips of tourbi, definately will be all eyes on it.

Don't bother...the watch dial is greyed out by Photoshop. p.s. I guess DE stands for Deutscheland...so the handle PeterCDE is PeterC from Deutscheland. Maybe I should be PeterCSG...
Hello Edwin
G'day,
as you see i didn´t not interfere much.
On the other hand, i need to ensure the site doesn´t run into copyright issues; the picture is one thing (and borderline), but the article is part of the newspaper´s pay-per-view coverage and thus protected by copyright laws.
Therefore i will need to remove any reproduction, unless someone supplies me with a written permission to do so before posting.
I´m well aware that´s handled different elsewhere, but for this place the prerogative is to respect other´s property. This includes both text and pictures and doesn´t lead to changes for posting embargos previously agreed on. But of course you´ll see the "whole picture" and full report in this place as soon as possible - and that´s something to look forward to.
Thanks for understanding!
Greetings from Germany,
Peter
Hi Edwin,
sure you´re very welcome and there´s no problem right now.
Just that i do know the handling elsewhere is different, which includes lifting pictures from other websites and media.
I´m proud there´s a different, correct understanding in this place and it´s visitors!
Cheers,
Peter
PS: Your suspicion about the sub-dial may be right. But if so, there´s a reason for it (not only because it´s a Lange).
