I'm not certain. David_S posted one here a few weeks ago (pink gold case/gray dial) and south in the comment below mentioned he has had his for 6 months. I've seen only a few on IG while I was waiting for mine, so perhaps some have trickled out over the last year or so, and production is now on the rise?

Yes! Yesterday (August 1) was my first month change. I had the watch right up to my face, and I could actually feel it when the change happened. The "click" was also quite audible. I was actually startled a bit, (in a good way). 😂
