The rose gold to have slightly better legibility for the 3 sub dials. However I have seen them in the flesh. I am not sure yet which version I will get
but I owned that L1 moonphase for a while. I seldom wore it, so I traded it. It’s a great watch, particular under a loupe/macro lens, and the distinct moonphase and day/night disks are delightful. But there were a few things that bugged me about it in really life. First, the dial color more often looks gray than black. Second, the date windows really should be black with white numerals rather than the opposite. Finally, if you wear any traditional L1 on your left wrist under a cuff, it is annoyingly harder to tell the time than to … see how much power reserve is left. Of course, all these critiques are extremely subjective…
