I adore mine, you will be lost in the movement architecture and finishing for days, it’s important to remember this is a very different animal than other Langes and needs to be approached with a different mindset. Think of it as Lange’s answer to the Royal Oak Offshore for example and the oversized case proportions will become charming rather than a drawback. A big bad sporty piece with Lange characteristics!

A couple of years ago I had the chance to try this watch on my wrist for about a whole week.

It is a stunning and awesome watch and a true jewel. The movement is just breathtaking.

Ha ha ha! Can you believe me if I tell you that I could not …
… sleep during several nights while having the watch at home trying to decide if purchase it or not??
The watch is absolutely breathtaking but well beyond my comfort zone in price.
Probably I’ll regret that sooner or later.

Lange 1 is my first favorite. I had a very bad experience with my first Lange 1 and had to finally trade it but I feel I need one in my collection. May be next year will try again.
