The platinum one with only 50 copies is too hard to find. But the rose gold one is much easier to find! That three-part enamel dial is amazing! The biggest problem is the thickness of the watch; these Langes are just too thick for French cuffed shirts!
Have you tried this on Patrick? Mine is actually quite slim and compared to Ferdinand Berthoud's new release which is thicker, this PLM wears super comfortably π

No problem at all for French cuffs but it is definitely not a JLC MUT or Bvlgari OF π
I've actually worn the platinum version at length...

An amazing watch, just incredible. Fantastic piece. It does wear comfortably, but not with a French cuff in my experience. I haven't tried the white gold, which I understand is a tiny bit thinner. I do like the thinness of the Bulgari, but the problem is the service experience. Will they polish it well? Will they scratch my movement? I try to factor in all of this before I buy a watch. In my current phase of collecting, I really value working directly with artisans. Being able to work directly with Roland Iten and have him personally oversee the long term maintenance of my belt buckles is a pleasure. Handing a watch to a specialist watchmaker or an independent watchmaker whom I trust would be another pleasure. Owning a simple Lange watch would be a pleasure to own since the servicing can be done by Alkis in New York City, whom is an incredible person who's very careful and has sound judgment and understands my movement tuning preferences and maintenance priorities. I really want that 40mm 1815 in white gold!
Not saying for you to purchase a Bvlgari, just wanted to say this PLM is not as thin BUT it is not thick either. It is actually just as if not more thin than most of my other watches π€·ββοΈ..

As for French cuffs, I guess it just depends on how tight you have the cuffs. If I wanted to wear a thinner watch, I could simply choose another from my collection so this PLM does not have to be an ALL in one watch for me.
Absolutely makes sense! Yes, I do have a few thin watches to choose from for the days I wear French cuffs, so I should allow some room for thicker watches! [nt]
I agree with your comment just like (almost) all about the enamel but...

...at the end it still is a superb piece and I vote for it
Moreover your pics are excellent no doubt but having the piece in the hand gives a different feeling of a gorgeous understated piece and not only a simple nomal beautiful ALS imho...
