I went past the local AD to have a look at the La Tradition in "the flesh".
They had a 37mm yellow gold piece there and it is really exceptionally beautiful live, photos do not do it justice, although I've seen some nice photos on here.
What I find amazing however, is how poor Breguet's marketing is.
If you look at the website here:
www.breguet.com
you can't help but feel like they let an amateur do that job. The resolution is poor and I have seen better cut-and-paste jobs in Photoshop performed by children.
I was given a little envelope which contained a few images (in solid quality) and a CD that had some press releases from Basel 2010 - two PDFs and 2 Word (!) documents.
I am amazed that a company in the high-end sector is content to market itself that way.
By comparison, I was given a hardcover book at the Patek AD with their entire line of watches, details on movements, etc.
It doesn't distract from the fact though, that the La Tradition is exceptionally attractive.
