Of getting a Breguet for your fiancé . She's blessed with a generous n loving man ! U r right also that the " queen " is not exactly " big ". I just did a special project for u n fiancé during lunch time. Boy oh boy, I need to skip dinner for the amount of food involved in the project! LoL
I have done some wrist shots which I shall try my best to post tomorrow. My intention is for u to have a look at the piece sitting on my wrist. That way u have a sample look at least n can somehow imagine how it might be on your fiancé's wrist before u really see it in flesh. Teehee...
Somehow , indeed the size exceeds usual small wrists. Having said that, I'm pretty sure the fitting is really personal n varies from one lady to another . I have seen few of my lady friends with smaller wrists donning bigger than usual size watches n they look fitting to them , more or less. In your case, seeing the piece in flesh n trying it will be useful n exciting at the same time !
I'm sure her Chopard Happy Diamond is a gem to her ! And this piece we are talking about will make her feel like a queen (I bet) if she can don it fittingly ! LoL

I am glad I can share my first love with Breguet with u here while sipping Minestrone Soup (that doesn't look like one but tastes like one)

At the same time scooping pieces of Florentine Steak to move on with the project.

The La Tradition is my most fave piece which holds a special meaning since 2005. It kickstarted my dream of having a Reine de Naples fitted with my preferences.

There u go, Ed, the project ended with a long burrrrrrp and contentment of being able to share this with u and I am wishing u and fiance the best experience in the process of aquiring a perfect NEW piece for her . And of course, considering the amount of calories involved in this project, may the "queen" be suitably fit !

Wow Linda!  Thank you so much for such a wonderful post.  The watches are beautiful, the photos excellent and the food delicious looking.  Now I've really got to bring my fiance to the Breguet AD to check it out in person. 

And I agree with you, one of my most favorite watches is my La Tradition.  Now I hope that I can share the same feelings with my fiance when she eventually gets a Breguet.  I'll keep you posted.

You made the best choice out of the two dial options. The crown looks smaller than on the white MOP dialed version I handled. Is that just a trick of the camera?

I'm mostly contented with what I have n each timepiece acquired has its own story. The La Tradition 2005 is the first piece I fell in love instantly the moment I saw it on the cover of a watch magazine . Five years after La Tradition, history is repeated. Another love at first sight ! This Blue MoP dial is the only piece I saw in prototype last year n my heart set on it instantly . When the stocks arrived in Singapore this year, basically I only pay attention to the Blue MoP dial
My eyes were focused on it and the rest is history. Blue is one of my fave colour!
Let's get excited over your wife possibility in getting the "queen" from her better half ( after trying it on, of course)

Thanks for the great info and wonderful in depth review.  Your taste and preference are exactly like my wife: simple lines, no frills, no diamonds, curves over straight lines and this Rene De Naples is the perfect case for modern ladies.  Breguet has done a great job in market study and came up with this piece which I am sure will capture a big part of the ladies watch lovers market.  I live in Hong Kong and I am coming into Singapore shortly, I am wondering if you could let me know the list price in Singapore (please PM me), I might buy it there.  I checked with the boutique here and they have it in stock too. so it is just a question of whoever has the better price.

I am glad that you are so haapy with it.  I am sure my wife would like it too.

Indeed Breguet has gone extra miles in creating this astonishing beauty in the simplicity of its own. The Queen is really captivating ( to me n your wife for sure) in a never before metal , never before size n never before no diamond and yet it oozes out the same DNA. Have u n your wife seen the actual piece in flesh? Which of the two dial colours that u actually would like to get for her?
Hong Kong is wonderful. My husband n I like to go there for R&R (translate that into culinary delights , ferry rides n strolling the infinite stretch of shops )
