thread: I see Sunshine
to be relatively easy to read the information on. The railroad track for hours and minutes is useful and makes the larger case work compared with the previous generation. Bill

thread: VC Overseas Perpetual Cal/Chrono NYC Edition 1/20 !
it's too bad the papers aren't with it, but I would still move ahead on it. You should plan on a service, as it is now 5 years old. Bill
thread: Anyone have any experience with Vacheron Constantine Overseas Chrono's?
Since you traded a Sub to get it I recommend that you eventually get the stainless steel bracelet to give you a new and useful look. Bill
thread: Movement macros - VC chronograph ref 4178 with Calibre 434.
the 4178 is one of my all-time favorite watches. Thank you for getting some "inside" pics. Bill

thread: Is it just me, the new Overseas is a bit.....
but I don't own one. Vacheron Constantin has had blue dials for all the previous generations of the Overseas and I am happy to see that continue with this new edition, even if Piaget (Polo S) , Cartier (Calibre Diver), and others are also going blue...

thread: What was your Second Vacheron Constantin?
my first wast the 37 mm Overseas Chronometer. My second was also my first trip into vintage watches. Bill
thread: Seriously considering the 2nd Gen. Overseas. what should I know?
then by all means jump on one as soon as you can! A number of collectors will also get a rubber strap and steel buckle to give it an additional look. I hop your next post will show it on your wrist! Bill
thread: Two very different watches but I love them both
and I too am a fan on the bronze case watches (though I never would expect one from VC). The Oris "Brashear" is pretty sweet as well. Bill
