Dating from the 1950s, this beautiful watch is in very good unrestored condition, with even patina to the dial. It features a steel case, original winding crown, original unrestored dial, original hands and a clean, freshly serviced hand-wound Universal movement (Cal 291). It comes complete with a new quality Hirsch leather strap and a new presentation box. It really does make a very impressive statement on the wrist, something different with a history, and will only rise in value.

It measures 33mm wide, excluding the original winding crown x 10mm thick x 40mm long, including the lugs. The inside back of the case is signed ‘Universal Geneve’, ‘Enversteel’ and Swiss’. The outside back of the case carries the ‘12508870’ & ‘21308’ reference numbers. Dial The original, unrestored dial has an even patina and is signed ‘Universal Geneve’ and ‘Swiss’. The original hands are in excellent, unbent condition, and the lens is very clear. Movement The hand-wound Universal Geneve movement (Cal 291) is in very good clean condition and is signed ‘Universal Geneve’ and ‘291’. The movement has just been serviced by a master watchmaker and is in very good working order for its age, with no issues and with all functions working correctly.
