Up for sale here is a genuine Stainless Steel Synchronar 2100 MK III Circa 1977.This is the real McCoy Original Brand solar powered watch.It features extreme accuracy that is easily settable to +- 8 seconds a year.The Synchronar is unique in many fielods of Horolgy.

Since 1972 the Synchronar was and STILL IS a technological masterpiece in the field of horolgy.For over 12 years it  was the ONLY! watch to have a smart calendar programmed for correct date keeping till the year 2100.This 1977   MK III  has the digital freaquency synthesizer  that displays  a digital speed calibration #. The user can change the digital # by one increment  to run faster or slower in steps of 16 seconds a year, which enables accuracy to the tune of 8 seconds a year.No tools or opening the watch are required like all other quartz  watches .There are also no seals to ever  wear out as it is permenantly sealed and filled with Silicone Gel that protects against internal corrosion and shock resistance.This unique potting process also makes the watch  very  waterproof  as their is NO AIR inside.

Now here is the kicker and one more reason this watch belongs in a Mueseum

 THIS WATCH IN STAINLESS STEEL IS IN VERY GOOD CONDITION HAVING NEVER BEEN OPENED  AND YES RIPLEY THE ORIGINAL 33+YEAR OLD BATTERIES  ARE STILL IN THEIR  AND DO TAKE A CHARGE.The watch was manufactured in USA at Riehl Time Corp,Whippany New Jersey.This was the year the inventor took over operations from Ragen Semiconductor who produced the custom IC from 1972-76 and marketed the watch from 1974-1976.

THERE SINPLY IS NO OTHER BRAND OF SOLAR POWERED WATCH OR BATTERY POWERED WATCH THAT HAS LIVED THIS LONG WITH NO SERVICE REQUIRED. THE ONLY THING THIS WATCH NEEDS FOR SERVICE IS SOME SUNSHINE OR HOUSEHOLD BULB TO RECHARGE PERIODICALLY.
