📖 About This Reference

**Rolex Oyster Perpetual Reference 3372** The Rolex Oyster Perpetual reference 3372 represents the brand's gold series execution of the Oyster Perpetual model line. This reference was produced during the 1940s-1950s period and distinguishes itself within the Oyster Perpetual range through its precious metal construction and 32mm proportions. The watch features an 18k yellow gold case measuring 32mm in diameter, fitted with a smooth bezel and acrylic crystal. The case provides 30 meters of water resistance. Movement duties are handled by the automatic caliber A11, which delivers a 42-hour power reserve. The reference was offered with either a leather strap or gold bracelet configuration. Reference 3372 appeals to collectors seeking mid-20th century Rolex production in precious metal, particularly those focused on the smaller case proportions typical of the era. The combination of yellow gold construction and automatic movement places this reference within Rolex's dress watch category from this production period.

Was Rolex caliber 3135
used in both the Submariner date and the Datejust? I have a friend who wears a Sub and doesn't believe me. I have both and am pretty sure I once read somewhere that they once shared a movement, may they still do. Before put any money on the table I want to verify my memory.
