I will start with my 116509 meteorite dial 😁
My wife wanted to see her watch through a macro lens,
so I took a few photos of her 31mm Datejust, Ref. 178344 with mother of pearl dial. I did not even notice the date window frame until I took this shot. A nice little feature. Please ignore all the scratches, just as my wife does. She even prohibits me from sending the watch to the RSC for polishing.
Finding the correct 'period' Rolex box
I would be extremely grateful if anybody could help me understand which box is the appropriate 'period' box to go with a 1971 Explorer II. I have recently acquired a lovely watch, which I won't always wear, I would like to store it in the right box. There are many for sale on ebay but I want to buy
