Rolex Sea-Dweller 1665

I have for sale a Rolex double red sea dweller (DRSD) with mark IV dial. The watch is a 5.2 million serial numbered transitional model from 1977 with a round font caseback (original owner’s name and birthday are engraved on the caseback). The serial is right within the generally accepted range for transitional models, and the full case serial is engraved inside the caseback so there is no question about the originality of parts. The dial is in excellent condition with only very minor aging around the date window, there are no cracks on the minute track. The patina on the lume plots, hands, and bezel pearl are all matching and original. The fat font bezel has faded beautifully into a greyish-blue which is highly sought after. The case has been polished but is still in good condition with healthy lugs, the serial number is clearly visible. Comes on its original 93150 bracelet with 585 endlinks, the clasp is also original to the watch with a “VC” stamp corresponding to 1977 production. Overall the condition of the watch is good, but make no mistake, this is NOT a safe queen. If you’re looking for a DRSD with all original and matching parts that you can actually wear day in and day out without worries, then this is it. Complete servicing of the movement and light polishing just carried out by Rolex trained watchmaker so it looks and runs great. I am located in Hong Kong.
