Recently purchased from the original owner, who purchased the watch from our store (JB Hudson) in 1978 for his 50th birthday. One-owner watch, bought and worn here in MN. Rolex Explorer II Ref. 1655 Serial 5611993 - Made in 1978 Both numbers are crisp and bold, easy to read, and not damaged. Lug holes still round not stretched like others which have been refinished multiple times. Original tritium dial and hands. GMT hand is nicely and accurately aged to light yellow color. Last serviced by Swiss Service Center in February 2010 their invoice number 143060. ~ Pechman
