Historical and significant, the Rolex Daytona in steel has been a favorite for more than half a century.  The latest version is definitely its most refined version; with a solid steel Oyster bracelet, a scratch resistant ceramic bezel with engraved tachymeter scale, and a reliable and robust in-house Rolex movement.  The 40mm size is a generous size for men and yet suitable on women too.  And this is just a perfect package of practicality, historical significance, reliability, and versatility - it's a "James Bond" watch that will go well with both swimsuit attire and tuxedo attire. 

The steel Daytona is a watch that receives great respect among established collectors and new-to-watch-people alike.  It's definitely a difficult watch to procure and for the past twenty years it's been in very short supply.  Generally one has to be selected and well-liked by an authorized dealer in order to have the privilege to procure such a piece.  It also normally requires significant patronizing of that authorized dealer's jewelry department as well and multiple years of consistent acquisition history. 

Condition: Watch is in overall Very Good to Excellent condition.  Watch is part of a multiple watch collection and has only been occasionally worn.  Watch has NEVER been polished.  No case damage.  Watch has never been dropped.  The bezel is in PERFECT condition and shows the watch has never been polished.  The sapphire crystal has no chips nor scratches and is in PERFECT condition.  The bracelet is in very good condition, some hair line scratches on the bracelet links, and one 2cm light rubbing on the clasp (the rubbing is so light, that it can be easily polished without changing the watch profile). The watch comes complete with box sleeve, outer box, inner box, and all the paperwork as you see in the photo.  This watch is considered to be "complete."
