FS: Roger Dubuis (early era) rose gold Sympathie shaped crystal w/ Geneva seal movement
The Sympathie with shaped crystal is one the most beautiful watches created:
- Case shape is signature to Dubuis in the early days
- Crystal - shaped crystal to match the case. Adds tremendously to the beauty. This crystal became so hard to make that on most Sympathie cases, a traditional simple round crystal was used
- This is why the "shaped crystal" Sympathies are the most desirable, and deservedly so
- Automatic movement finished to a level earning it the Geneva Seal
- The pattern at the center of the dial is quite unique. I have seen many variants of the Sympathie but this is one of the only I have seen like this
Amazing condition, I will call it 90-92% to be very conservative, but in reality I think it shows minimal wear.
The case is about 35mm roughly not including crown but because of the shape and thicker longer lugs, it wears bigger.
