Piaget Vintage 18K pink gold

As I further realign my collection, I am offering an extremely rare and superb 18K pink gold ref. 10592 Piaget, circa 1950. This is as fine an example of an early hand-wind Piaget as I have ever seen. The case is spectacular, and the lugs, as the photos illustrate, are both sensual and retain their original curves. The 33mm case (excluding crown) is identical in design to the one shown in the middle of the vintage advertisement shown below, and wears a bit larger than its dimensions due to the very narrow bezel.

This watch is in truly excellent, original condition throughout. If the case was ever polished, then the polishing was very light indeed. The gold hallmark is clearly visible, and the few sharp edges retain their crisp angles. The dial is in fine condition, and the applied gold markers, printed outer second track, and hands are near-mint. The movement (signed Piaget) has 17 jewels, winds smoothly and is working well.
