Case in solid titanium… The design of
the case which houses the models of the Titanium (Ti.) collection is
strongly inspired by Perrelet’s traditional collections, while
remaining radically different. The bold approach is confirmed by its
far-reaching modification and reworking of the company’s traditional
aesthetic codes in order to create an ultra-sporty model with strong
character and personality. Titanium is approximately twice as light
compared to stainless steel used in the world of top of the range
watchmaking, facilitating the production of big size models which
remain extremely pleasant to wear.
This material proves to be
exceptionally non-corrosive in numerous contexts, such as in seawater
or upon contact with the human skin. It joins gold and platinum as one
of the most biocompatible materials, and contains absolutely no toxic
elements.
Titanium is practically twice as hard as steel, a
characteristic which ensures that the life span of the products is
considerably longer. All the models of the Titanium (Ti.) collection
are designed to be waterresistant to 100 metres (10 ATM).
Natural rubber strap
Natural rubber is not a chemical material gained from petroleum, but
rather a vegetal, organic substance won from the sap of certain trees,
notably the hevea, or rubber tree.
Like titanium, this material
is extremely biocompatible and totally antiallergic. The folding buckle
in solid titanium is the last, yet key element to provide comfortable
wearing of this amazing timepiece in which all the different elements
come together to form a unique result.
