Description
For sale, a quite rarely seen piece from one of my favourite Independent Watchmakers and true horological gentlemen: Paul Gerber. (PRICE DROP ) - US$3500
This is one of PG's hand-wind "Retrograd" or "Ref: 152" models in yellow gold. Retrograd: features a retrograde seconds hand, which flies back to 0 after completing an elegant arc.
At the time of release, this model was the first watch with a retrograde seconds hand ever made.
Another cute feature is that the hour numerals get progressively larger in size around the dial. Absolutely gorgeous dial and movement, finished personally by Paul in his Zurich atelier.
Time to move this piece because it's just not getting any wrist time (and I have another PG watch in my collection).
Watch is in a VG to Mint condition (easily 93+%), and comes with a brand new PG OEM leather band and yellow tang buckle. Signed papers, box, monogram cloth (the full deal)
Watch is in Melbourne Australia, so happy to do a face-to-face deal in Melbourne or Sydney. Happy to ship world-wide at buyer's expense.
