Patek Philippe Grand Complications

For sale is a Patek Philippe perpetual calendar chronograph 3970J second series from 1989 with waterproof screwdown back. The first and second series feature off-white/cream dials, leaf hands and batton markers, all of which make these watches highly attractive and desirable. Production numbers for the first (100 approx.) and second (600 approx.) are also important to consider.

The watch is in overall excellent condition only showing very light signs of wear. The watch runs perfectly and keeps excellent time.

The watch was originally purchased brand new on Bond Street in London and I can recount the ownership history if you are interested. The watch comes with box, original papers, and instruction manual. The watch features a solid caseback which is typical for early 3970s and has its original tang buckle. It comes on a high-end light grain leather strap and accompanied by its original Patek Philippe strap.

I have enjoyed the watch tremendously and I am offering the watch at a “collector price” and hope it finds a good home. $78,000 shipped in the CONUS.
