Patek Philippe Calatrava 5085

Greetings folks,

About the watch: the predecessor to the ubiquitous Nautilus 5712, it houses the caliber 240 which is the same used in the perpetual 3940. The 22 carat micro rotor rotates on ball bearings, and the movement is hallmarked with the prestigious Geneva Seal. The movement has 29 jewels and has a free-sprung Gyromax balance. Integrated steel bracelet, steel case. I believe the 5085 was first produced in 1998 for 4 or 5 years in small numbers, and then discontinued. A few years later, the 3712 took over, but it too was discontinued after a short run.

Condition: 97% with no dents or dings on entire watch. Bezel is free from dents or dings, just a few hairlines. Bracelet is crisp and snaps on and off tightly, also with some hairlines. Watch basically runs flawlessly with no operational problems at all, keeping well within COSC standards. Case is 37mm and just under 9mm slim. 48 hours of power reserve with moonphase. The hour indices have faded with very nice patina. Dial and hands are immaculate, no stains. Wears extremely light and comfortably on the wrist.

Full papers, and originally the box was tossed due to extremely poor condition, but I will include a box correct to this model (from my other Patek). The original stylus is missing but I will include a replacement setting pin (toothpicks are actually the safest to use).
