Patek Philippe 1530/1A

A pristine and extremely rare stainless steel Patek Philippe from September 1943. Produced between 1942 and 1950, the watch is one of only six known to have appeared in public according to John Goldberger in his acclaimed book, Patek Philippe Steel Watches. There is a photo of a stainless steel 1530 on pages 160 and 161.  The watch was restored at Patek Philippe Geneva in 1999 at a cost of 2,164 Swiss Francs and in May 2018, the dial was cleaned and the glass resealed professionally. It comes with receipts for the work mentioned plus a Patek Box and the Extract of Archives.
