Parmigiani Kalpa Grande Steel

Movement:  Automatic movement PF331.0:  double barrel, 32 jewels.  Unlike the current model, this movement has the 22kt gold rotor which is now only available on gold or platinum models.  The rotor has a beautiful decorative finish that matches the barleycorn design of the dial.  This rotor is very well-executed and adds considerably to the appeal of this Kalpa edition.

Functions:  Hour, minutes, center sweep seconds and large date aperture

Dial:  Black dial with guilloche barleycorn center recessed section, delta shaped hands, 12,9,3 rhodium plated and alternating luminous dagger hour markers and date aperture

Case:  Highly polished tonneau shape 46.6 x 34 mm, thickness 9.25 mm.  Sapphire crystal with anti-reflection finish, sapphire crystal display back.  Kalpa lugs are geometrically proportional and gently slope downward for an overall aesthetically pleasing effect.  The design fits the wrist extremely well.

Strap:  Hermes black calf strap with minimal wear and SS Parmigiani tang buckle

Condition:  in excellent  condition and has not been polished

Documentation:  All original Outer box , Inner leather box/case, AD signed and stamped paperwork from 9/05

Summary:  Overall this is an outstanding watch at a great price with very high quality attention to detail and hand finishing.
