📖 About This Reference

The PAM198 represents Panerai's Radiomir 8 Days model executed in platinum, distinguishing it from standard steel variants within the Radiomir 8 Day series. This reference utilizes precious metal construction throughout its case and bezel components. The 45mm case is crafted from polished platinum, paired with a matching polished platinum bezel. A 1.9mm sapphire crystal protects the dial, while water resistance extends to 100 meters. The watch operates on Panerai's Calibre OP XIV movement, providing the extended power reserve characteristic of the 8 Days designation. This reference appeals to collectors seeking Panerai's signature Radiomir case profile in precious metal execution. The platinum construction elevates the PAM198 above standard production models, positioning it as a higher-tier offering within the Radiomir 8 Day collection. The substantial 45mm case size maintains the proportions expected from this model family while the precious metal composition adds material value.

Some questions....
I believe this is true, but can someone confirm. The 190 uses a JLC movement. That is also true for the 198. What movement is used in the PAM 201? Any views on this latter PAM? What other references used JLC movements. WHat is used in teh 274? Sorry...quite a few questions there. Thanks
