📖 About This Reference

The PAM004 represents Panerai's Luminor Marina series executed in a PVD-coated steel case configuration. This reference distinguishes itself within the Luminor Marina range through its blackened case treatment, departing from standard steel finishes typically found in the collection. The 44mm case utilizes PVD steel construction with a matching PVD steel bezel. A 3.5mm sapphire crystal protects the dial, while the case maintains 300-meter water resistance. The watch operates on the Calibre OP II movement, providing the mechanical foundation for timekeeping functions. This reference appeals to collectors seeking the Luminor Marina design in an alternative case finish. The PVD coating offers a tactical appearance that differentiates the PAM004 from polished steel variants within the same model family. The 44mm case size positions this piece within Panerai's standard sizing conventions for the Luminor Marina series.

Greetings fellow Paneristi…a question for the experts
Paneristi Jon L. seeks explanation for discrepancy in production numbers of Panerai A-series watches. Found Pam00002 A-series with case back reading A1107/1500, conflicting with reported 1000-piece production.

First and last Panerai
Somewhat cheap back in the day when a little known company. Pair cost less than what the lowest priced model sells for today. Although I could afford to buy one today. Would I? I'm used to paying old prices for many years and todays prices shock me. Not just on Panerai, but all watches DON

Link between serial number and millesimation number
Hi. I came across this pam0004 T dial and am researching its validity. According to paneristi.com there should be a numerical link between the bb number and the mille number by 1400. So 6138 less 1400 should be A3438 but this shows A0327. So the question is, is this real?

T-dials from my....drawer.
the "interpreters": 5218-201A + 5218-201NM - 5218-207A "Slytech" - PAM001 - 002 - 004 - 009 and 36, not necessarily in that order
